The new hero, PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds (PUBG) is now out to assassinate our all time favorite game, Defense of the Ancients (DOTA).
DOTA is a multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) game where you team up with four other players (5 in total) and destroy the other team's Ancient (base). But to reach that base you need to destroy three outer towers and two inner towers. Each human player controls one hero, and each hero have four different unique skills. its up to your heroes combination and team strategy to attain the victory that you want to achieve.
For years, DOTA dominated the gaming industry destroying other games that rivals it like, League of Legends (LOL), Heroes of Newearth (HON), Special Force (SF), Crossfire (CF) and many more online games. it even holds the recored in the most highest prize pool in the history of e-sports.

It has a 16 year streak where no other games surpassed its fame, not until now.
Even though PUBG just got released last year, it already overtook DOTA in the gaming platform Steam's top games.
The game climb the fame ladder so fast that its creator Bluehole Studios, ride PUBG's rising fame and rename their game developing group into PUBG Corp.
