By: Jerome Calayag
A
facebook user publicized a video with pictures on March 5 concerning the
trending post of a page about the secret item called Quadruple Cheese Burger on
Angel’s Burger.
Jay Matias posted a clarification
that there is no secret menu at the said store, but insisted that there is a
secret technique to attain a cheaper yet appetizing burger.

Matias’ story, as of writing, garnered
almost 1 million views, 5,700 reactions, 4,700 comments and shared by social
media users approximately 5,900 times.
However, some netizens were not
delighted to know that there is no existing ‘hacked’ meal in menu of the well-known
establishment.
In addition to Matias’
clarification, Princess Marjie Co Badel also revealed in a facebook post that
she also tried to avail the product but she was disappointed knowing that there
is no existence of it.
“I came at the nearest Angel's Burger
in our barangay to find out if the said video is fact na fact ba kagaya ng
secret menu ng mcdo or just a fake
news gaya ng mga nauuso ngayon. I
asked one of the employee in the said branch and she said "it’s fake"
I feel so shocked at the moment,” Badel said according to the post.
“And I just want you all know that Angel's quadruple burger is
fake. Yes, fake news even there’s a video. Again, theres no quadruple burger at
68," she added.
The trending
video posted on March 4 by Rapsa, a facebook page, got 270,000
views with 4, 700 reactions, 1,900 commments, and 2,1000 shares.
